Orders arrivals / Llegada de pedidos

Quick entry. Gradually, all orders we made are arriving. The ones of Leeke, Angell Studio and Luts have already arrived, so Byron already has clothes and wig. In the next entry, I’m going to upload the photos so you can see how handsome the doll has become, even he looks better than expected. 

Entrada rápida. Poco a poco van llegando los pedidos que hicimos. Ya han llegado los pedidos de Leeke, Angell Studio y Luts, así que Byron ya tiene ropa y su peluca. En la próxima entrada subiré las fotos para que veáis lo guapo que ha quedado el muñeco, incluso lo vemos aún mejor de lo esperado.

Head puller

As for the tools, we already have them at home. I’ve visited the Luts site again, and I’ve seen that two of the tools I ordered, the forceps and the head puller, are sold out. I did well ordering them at the time where everything was available. It will be easier to remove and put heads of SD dolls when they’ll need a new face-up using the head puller. I have also bought an elastic string puller to make it more comfortable to tense dolls. We managed quite well without it, but four of our dolls are SD and this means that their elastic strings are thick, so using the ribbons we used to tense was a bit painful. And I found and odd tool which made me feel exited, a pair of "hands" for changing clothes that can’t be put because of the hands. With these "hands", hoods don’t get into the arm when removing their hands and is much more easier to dress them, so I can finally put to Toshi a jacket that I bought a long time ago and I’ve never been able to put him because his hands don’t enter on the sleeves. Although in the store is marked that these "hands" (although they can also be used for feet) are for 70cm SD, they also fit in smaller SDs.

Sobre las herramientas, ya las tenemos en casa y al mirar en Luts, he visto que dos de las herramientas que pedí, el fórceps y "estirador de gomas para cabezas" (o saca-cabezas, como lo llamo), se han agotado. Menos mal que hice el pedido en el momento en el que todo estaba disponible. Con el Head puller sera más fácil quitar y poner las cabezas de los SD cuando los tenga que remaquillar. También compré un "estirador de gomas" para que sea más cómodo tensar. Ya nos las apañábamos bien sin él, pero como la mayoría de nuestros muñecos son SD, las gomas son bastante gordas y nos dejábamos las manos buenas con las cintas que usábamos para estirar. Y una cosa que me pareció curiosa y me hizo hasta ilusión encontrar, fue un par de "manos" para poder ponerles ropa que no entra con las manos puestas. Con estas "manos" los ganchos no se meten dentro del brazo al quitarles las manos y es mucho más cómodo vestirlos, así que Toshi por fin podrá ponerse una cazadora que le compré y nunca se la he podido poner porque no le entran las mangas por culpa de las manos. Aunque en la tienda ponga que estas "manos" (aunque también sirven para los pies) son para SD de 70cm, también sirven para el resto de tamaños SD más pequeños.

To end, Danielle already has her violet eyes and long haired wig, so when her body will come, which is already ordered to China, she’ll be completed. She’s wearing her new eyes and they look perfect on her. You’ll see photos when her body comes. As I mentioned here, I bought red glass eyes for Toshi. I love them when I saw them and now that he’s wearing them, they’re perfect, just what I wanted for him. These ones look red and not as dull as the other ones he had. So now I’m only waiting for the order in TATA’s Paradise and the arrival of the body (I think it will come in May) 

Para finalizar, Danielle también tiene ya sus ojos violetas y su peluca larga, así que cuando llegue el cuerpo, que ya está pedido a China, estará terminada. Los ojos ya los tiene puestos y le quedan perfectos ya veréis fotos cuando llegue el cuerpo. Como también comenté aquí, a Toshi le compré unos ojos rojos de cristal. Me encantaron cuando los vi y ahora que los tiene puestos, le quedan perfectos, justo lo que quería para él. Estos sí se ven rojos y no tan apagados como los otros que tenía puestos. Así que ya solo estoy esperando a que me envíen el pedido de TATA’s Paradise y que llegue el cuerpo (calculo que llegará sobre mayo).
